For fans of Star Wars (and I've suddenly noticed some serious enthusiasm) you
MUST take a look at http://www.theforce.net and download the videos of TROOPS.
There's 77Mb of .mov files, but they're worth it.

It does rather peak in number three though, so if you really can't download the
whole lot, that's the one to go for. (Imperial stormtroopers interrogating
jawas about some stolen droids.)

My thinking is usually pretty good; unfortunately I tend to do it after my talking,
by which time I've generally destroyed all basis for further conversation.

It's true that Troops are really EXCELLENT short movies, but for those who
don't want to spend a whole night downloading the videos, they can just look
at the scripts and fancy a bit (They are on the same site, of course). It's
almost as hilarious, and it's faster (time is money on the Net).

Given that we've got a leased line at home, I'm happy to download the lot and
then record them onto video. These could then be shown at a video evening or
whatever. Is anyone interested as it'll be a fair bit of effort.

Yeah, they sound like a laugh so if you can get them onto a tape for me,
we'll probably show them as a trailer to one of the movies in the next few
weeks :)
