A very good Guinan's race/ Borg book is Vendetta. This not only
features the Enterprise in pitched battle between 3 Borg cubes
and 2 Starfleet vessels, it has the Ferengi finding out that deals
are irrelevant, and more importantly, the big brother of the Doomsday
Machine (the one that eats planets) featured in The Original Series.
That one is also up against our feeling rather put upon heroes in the
big battle at the end.
