airing on 12th April.

(http://www.midwinter.com/lurk/lurker.html) to see if there was any more Bab
5 news to catch up on and *they* reckon it's on at 12:40PM i.e. early
afternoon rather than the middle of the night. I have to admit that that
sounds a bit more likely although that would be a bit of a backward step for
the "late evening showing to stop cuts" campaign.

I had a quick mosey down to Lurker's Guide
(http://www.midwinter.com/lurk/lurker.html) to see if there was any more Bab
5 news to catch up on and *they* reckon it's on at 12:40PM i.e. early
afternoon rather than the middle of the night. I have to admit that that
sounds a bit more likely although that would be a bit of a backward step for
the "late evening showing to stop cuts" campaign.

I can't quite imagine the Waltons being followed by B5. Given the fuss
everyone kicked up last time, I would have thought that the same would
happen again. It's probably a typo on the C4 webpages and they've not been
bothered to update it. At least...I hope it's a typo. *8)

the last episode of Season 4. Its not after Waltons anymore.

I am afraid it is correct, if you look at the schedule for Sunday

Indeed. In fact looking at the schedule for the fifth season, there's an
interesting thing:

"Season five of Babylon 5 airs Sundays at 12:40PM on Channel 4. Since that
timeslot is subject to rules concerning violent
content, Channel 4 will also show the episodes uncut at a later time, though
it hasn't been announced yet."

Coo. Seems they want to appeal to the younger audience as well as satisfying
the older watchers with blood and guts. It's not clear whether "later time"
means later in the year after this showing has finished or later in the week
i.e. Sundays plus another late night. One would guess that if they haven't
announced it yet, it's a little late to start showing it simultaneously.

There's also the news that the sequel series, "Crusade" has been agreed and
begins shooting on July 27th to be premiered on January 6th 1999. Rumours
abound that TNT may order the full 5 seasons up front, thus avoiding the
uncertainty that plagued B5. TNT will be making an official announcement on
Monday.

That's about the time they used to show the old Inane Allen stuff, like
Lost in inanity, Land of the inanities, The shite Tunnel, and Voyage to
the Bottom of the Barrel. I can quite imagine C4 putting proper SF there now
to make up for having shown so much of the crapmeister's stuff in the past.
