The question of what books IFIS should buy or should not buy is a very
old one - it goes back as far as I can remember; the preblem is, someone
has to get spent their time (and maybe money) to buy the books and the
last thing he will want is a "why didn't you buy this book" response,
especially if he has had very little feed back from the member about it.
It happen to me more than once.
Jennie's idea to vote on a hit list of books, I think is the way forward. One
of the issues of the AGM use to be how the money was to be spent - i.e
what books to buy.
