A star trek joke that I heard on the radio once and have now decided to inflict on you lot.

What surrounds a black hole?
Uhura's bottom.

and you realise that there's at least one "uhura's bottom" joke in
every episode, and you find yourself sitting there waiting for the

whilst they wait for you to work it out for yourself first :-)

and you realise that there's at least one "uhura's bottom" joke in

I have the whole of the original Star Trek on video (recorded off Sky,
back when they edited it), and I noticed no such thing. Is this some
kind of sick fantasy? Or is Nick one of those people who always reads
too far into things, like those who reckon Holmes and Watson were gay?

I hope this *is* just a made-up thing, otherwise I'm going to have to
burn my video collection.

None of the above.

It was some "comedy" series which had a trek rip-off as one of it's
weekly sketches. I don't think it WAS Russ Abbott, but it was that
KIND of program.

I hope this *is* just a made-up thing, otherwise I'm going to have to
burn my video collection.

It's not made up, but it's not technically star trek either. Feel free
to burn your video collection if you want. If you're selling tickets
to this event, please let me know. :-)

I believe that in that episode of Star Terk 2, Uhura had got the bottom joke out of the way at the beginning by mentioning she had something in her drawers.
It also had gems like:
'They're approaching whilst covered in green leguminous vegetables!'
'What, you mean...'
'Yes, They come in peas'

and

'To seek out new life etc and so on until To test out thenew super-refridgerated toilet; to coldly go...

'Captain we've just been hit by a thousand tins of blue paint and a thousand tins of purple paint'
'What, you mean...'
Yes, we're marooned in space.

'To seek out a cure for alopoecia(sp) , to baldly go...'

What looks like 2 black puddings?

What, exactly, is Star Terk 2? I've only heard of Star Wreck (series of
books), Star Blecch (MAD Magazine), Sev Trek (Internet comic send-up)...
sounds rude to me.

What, exactly, is Star Terk 2?

Star Terk 2 was a short lived radio series which was on while I was in senior school and half of you lot were in nappies. It always started with a Star Trek skit which would be interrupted by a transmission from Earth after 5 minutes. In the last episode the Terk crew invaded Earth in order to stop this from happening. (silly French accent) That's what I theenk aneewaay.
