We've got some important info this week, so BE SURE TO READ THE WHOLE EMAIL!
To put us in the mood for halloween on Thursday, this weeks film is Cabin in the Woods! Written by both Joss Whedon and Drew Goddard (who wrote for Buffy and Angel), Cabin in the Woods is a not altogether serious horror movie released in 2012 and starring Chris Hemsworth. It's not really gory though, so don't worry too much!
The film this week will be in ALT1, so make sure you don't go to the wrong place!
Then on Thursday, we'll be having our LAST EVER Thursday social. There will be pumpkin carving and a pub quiz, so join us as we take one last trip to the Alma Mata!
Starting NEXT WEEK, we will (by popular demand!) be having our weekly social on a MONDAY. This will take place at a pub in englefield green, so watch this space...
Finally, and most importantly, we WILL BE HOLDING ELECTIONS ON NOVEMBER 12th (in ALT2), before the film. This will be for the post of librarian, so if you have any questions please address them to any member of the committee, and we'll be happy to help.
