IFIS- Tomorrow's movie night!
Dear Earthlings,
Firstly, thanks to all those who attended the 30th Picocon this past weekend at Imperial College!
Much fun was had in many events -from book buying, to loosing 85 to 225 in the University Challenge knock-outs rounds, to being Champion of Harmless Fun (and definitely not fish duelling) for the 4th year in a row (a title defended by yours truly for the second time in 2 years!)!
Many thanks to all who came and flew the colours for IFIS! Here's to next years!
Secondly, tomorrow's movie night will be from 7pm in ALT2.
We'll be continuing our 'Best of British' month by watching the cult classic series "The Avengers"! Nothing to do with the American comicbook series but starring Diana Rigg as Mrs Emma Peel & Patrick Macnee as John Steed, the dynamic duo who assist, investigate and perform feats of an adventurous nature!
Add a touch of class, some epic fights, darstardly villains and everything from robots to incredible shrinking men, and you have a classic series! Due to having well over 60 episodes in total, we'll only be watching three episodes (well chosen ones I promise!).
