WorldCon 2014 in London
It was announced this past weekend at Chicon (WorldCon 2012) that London has
won the bid to host the 2014 WorldCon. WorldCons are enormous sci-fi
conventions bringing together 1000s of people to enjoy sci-fi.
Guests of honour include Iain M Banks and Robin Hobb.

are finalised but you can get tickets (aka membership) already. Yes, the
price is expensive but you're getting 5 days packed solid with events.
