The election took place using the rules as laid down by the student union (SU).
- Matt Talbot was uncontested in running for President
- The position of Secretary was postponed as not all candidates were present
- Lauren Harley was uncontested in running for Treasurer
- Melika Jeddi was uncontested in running for Librarian
- Rory Gurdon and Nathan Websdale both stood for Secretary.
- A vote was conducted and the result was so close that the votes were recounted to confirm that Rory Gurdon was the winner.
