An event hosted by IFIS, RHUL Science Fiction and Fantasy society.
We will be running this event similar to last year, it will begin with a discussion on any points people wish to raise to the committee (serious). This will be followed by a Hustings where prospective committee members will present their case and be asked questions (also serious... mostly).
This will be followed by a panel games session (almost certainly very silly).
We ask as many of you as possible to attend - this is probably the most important event we run all year as it determines who will run our society for the next year.
Election Schedule:
We have four committee roles - President, Secretary, Treasurer and Librarian.
27/02/17 - Nomination open on SU website - if you are interested, be sure to speak to a member of the current committee for advice on the role you are interested in.
2/03/17 - Nominations close - if you are thinking of running, no matter how unsure, you must have put yourself forward by this date.
28/02/17 - IFIS Election Hustings (this event), Nominees present talk to members to present their case for the committee postion.
13/03/17 -> 15/03/17 - Elections are open, online voting on SU website.
17/03/17 - New committee announced.
