An event hosted by IFIS, RHUL Science Fiction and Fantasy society.
Picocon is a convention run by our counterpart society at Imperial College. It's a fun event filled with guest speakers, silly games and a quiz. This year the guests of honour are Cory Doctorow, Frances Hardinge, Ian McDonald, Kari Sperring and Stuart Ashen.
It is being held on 2 days - this event is for Saturday which features Cory, Frances and other events. The other event is on the Sunday.
Doors open at 9am so to ensure the minimum of fuss and hassle it looks likely that we'll catch the 8.23 train from Egham so we can arrive, get signed in and be ready with time to catch the first event at 10.
