The Avengers is a spy-fi British television series created in the 1960s. Mr Steed and Mrs Emma Peel are spies working for a secret department within the British government and are tasked with dealing with often quite bizarre threats to national safety and security. It's many episodes feature elements of science fiction and fantasy, parody and British eccentricity.
Afterwards we will head to Crosslands for a drink, a chat and discuss our recent "invasion" of Picocon at the weekend.
