An event hosted by IFIS, RHUL Science Fiction and Fantasy society.
Picocon is a convention being hosted by Imperial College's science fiction society. It's a two day event - this event is for the Sunday. The other event is on the Saturday.
The plan will no doubt be decided closer to the day, but expect to catch a train sometime before 9am with the intent of arriving at just after doors open.
You can pre-register online - it'll make the organisers lives a lot easier if you do so. Make sure you mention that you're part of an "Affiliate Society" namely "IFIS" to get the right prices of 10 or 12quid depending on how many days you're attending. Obviously this only applies if you've actually bothered to pay your membership ;)
Travel plans are as follows: Catch the first 441 bus to Heathrow Terminal 5 - it leaves the Green at 8.04 and Egham at 8.14. From Heathrow take the Picadilly line to South Kensington and then walk. If you miss the 441 bus, the next option is to take the rail replacement bus at 8.24 to Hounslow. Take a train to Richmond and then the District line to South Ken. If you miss *that* then there's the 71 bus to Heathrow.
